Because it’s so fresh that this mobile app has just released, google goggles currently works with certain types of searches. At this time, google goggles don’t work with photos of animals, plants, food, apparel, cars, furniture and people. LOL Come to think of it, Google could be integrated with facebook and create a partnership with this kind of ‘search platform.’ That would be freaking interesting! Might as well google goggles his face…” LOL The evolution of technology, how amazing!

Google goggles can be used for personal computers?  Many are asking about this google goggles for pc. Like if you just want to take a picture using your webcam and perhaps google goggles it. Unfortunately, this application is only available for mobile phones. As I’ve mentioned, it’s the newest feature of google mobile apps.

Books – you can capture an image of a book and hit the google goggles app from your iphone or Blackberry or anything that works with it, then relevant information about it will appear in search results. Do you wanna know more about a book before purchasing it? Then this feature is perfect for that.

DVDs – take a shot of a dvd cover and google goggles will tell you the synopsis, the cast, date of released and more numerous facts about the movie.

Landmarks – if you’re on a tour and spotted a famous landmark but your tour guide explanations and info won’t satisfy your craving for knowledge, you can just snap an image of the place and google goggles it. All information that you’re looking for will appear in your fingertips without typing a single word.

Texts that can be translated – if you’re in a foreign country or place, you won’t be needing a dictionary to know the meaning of certain words and phrases. Just use your mobile phone to google goggle the image of texts and the translation results will appear. Goggles can read English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. It can translate into those languages, plus Afrikaans, Albanian, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Galician, Icelandic, Irish, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish.
